Enderby is a civil parish in the district of Blaby, in Leicestershire, England. It is situated on the south western outskirts of the city of Leicester and has a population of 5,648 at the time of the 2001 census. The parish consists of the village of Enderby and St John's which is separated from the main village by the M1 motorway and is situated either side of the B4114 between Fosse Shopping Park and Narborough. St John's also lies close to the deserted village of Alderby near to the River Soar. Also located within the civil parish of Enderby although not part of the main village are the out-of-town shopping parks of Fosse Shopping Park and Grove Farm Triangle, the business park, Grove Park and the Everards Brewery. Enderby is home to writer and newspaper columnist Frank Evans, who has also worked as the village Lollipop Man. Enderby is bordered by the City of Leicester and the civil parishes of Lubbesthorpe, Glen Parva, Narborough, Whetstone and Braunstone Town .
