Elmore is a city in Faribault County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 663 at the 2010 census. Elmore was the boyhood home of former U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Walter F. Mondale. The city motto was once "Not a Bad Border Town," and was changed to the current "A Great Border Town".
