Ellingham is a civil parish in Norfolk, England. It covers an area of 5.61 km2 (2.17 sq mi) and had a population of 532 in 238 households at the 2001 UK census, the population increasing to 554 in 248 households at the 2011 UK census. It lies approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) from Bungay and 4 miles (6.4 km) from Beccles (both in Suffolk). Other close towns to the village include Diss (16 miles) and Great Yarmouth (17 miles).

Ellingham is on the River Waveney and lies along the A143 road which runs from Great Yarmouth in Norfolk to Haverhill in Suffolk. In March 2002, Ellingham and the nearby village of Broome were bypassed by this road which consequently, divided the larger side of Ellingham, now known as Ellingham 'East', with the smaller side, referred to as Ellingham 'West'.

The Waveney Valley Line which used to run from Tivetshall to Beccles had a station at Ellingham.

The files are separated by type and broken down into time periods (i.e., "Baptism, Marriages, and Burials, 1535-1812" is more than one file). The general explanatory notes are worth reading for those unfamiliar with English parish records.
