Ellerton Abbey was a "township" located on the opposite (south) side of the River Swale to Marrick, now in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England. GENUKI provides a long description. Wikipedia refers to it as one of the homes of Sir George Jackson Duckett (1725 – 1822) who was a British naval administrator and politician.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Ellerton Abbey was part of Reeth Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Downholme in the Hang West Wapentake.
