Edgewood is a town in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, United States, and is currently the fastest growing place in the state of New Mexico. Through annexations, its town boundaries now extend into Bernalillo and Sandoval counties. It is part of the Santa Fe, New Mexico Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Although in Santa Fe County, Edgewood lies closer to Albuquerque and in recent years has become a popular bedroom community for commuters. The town's population grew 97% between 2000 and 2010, from 1,893 to 3,735. Edgewood boasts a median household income of over $50,000 per year, a high number compared to the state averages.

The town continues to experience rapid growth and has multiple master planned communities in the planning stages. As a result of the high household income, rapid population growth, and close proximity to Interstate 40, Edgewood is now becoming attractive to developers and retailers. Recent examples include Smith's Food and Drug, Walgreens, AutoZone, Family Dollar, a Ford dealership, and the most prominent example being the recent opening of a new Walmart SuperCenter.
