Duggleby is a hamlet since 1974 in the Ryedale District of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated northeast from York and southeast from Scarborough.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Leavening was located in Norton Rural District. It was made a civil parish in 1866. Historically, it was a township of the ancient parish of Kirby Grindalythe in the Buckrose Wapentake. In 1935 it was merged back into Kirby Grindalythe.
