Dorking and Horley Rural District in central Surrey, England was formed in 1933 when Dorking, Epsom and Reigate Rural Districts were abolished. It also absorbed some territory (but no complete parishes) from Guildford Rural District. The Dorking and Horley Rural District was abolished in the nationwide reorganization of municipalities of 1974 and its area (except for Horley) was transferred to the Mole Valley District of Surrey.
