Dunesdorf is the German name for this village located on the Großkokel River just east of Schäßburg (Place:Sighișoara, Romania) in central Transylvania. It was founded in the 12th century as by the Kolozsmonostor Monastery but soon gained independence as as part of the Königsboden.
