Cumru Township (pronounced "KOOM-roo") is a township in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 15,147 at the 2010 census. The name is Welsh in origin, likely from "Cymru" the Welsh name for Wales. Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center a Pennsylvania state park is in Cumru Township.
