A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Crown Farm from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"CROWN-FARM, an extra-parochial tract in Stockbridge [registration] district, Hants; 4¼ miles SW of Stockbridge. Population, 5. House, 1."

Crown Farm was a civil parish from 1858 until 1883 when it was absorbed into the parish of Bossington. Victoria County History of Hampshire, volume 4, chapter on Bossington, states "Crown Farm, formerly extraparochial and afterwards a separate parish, was included in Bossington by Local Government Board Order dated 25 March 1883."
