Creeting St Mary is a village and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk District of Suffolk in eastern England. Sandwiched between the A14 and A140 to the north of Needham Market, the parish also includes the hamlet of Creeting Bottoms. In 2005 its population was 710.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Creeting St. Mary from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"CREETING-ST. MARY, a parish in Bosmere [registration] district, Suffolk; on an affluent of the river Gipping, near the Eastern Union railway, 1½ mile NE of Needham-Market. Post town, Needham-Market. Real property: £2,785. Population: 202. Houses: 51. An alien priory stood here, a cell to Bernay abbey; and was given to Eton college."
