Old Craighall is a former mining hamlet just south of Musselburgh in the former parish of Inveresk which ceased to exist in 1975. The area covered by Inveresk was first transferred to the Lothan Region and then, in 1996, into the East Lothian Council Area. There is a New Craighall to the northwest, now in the City of Edinburgh Council Area. [edit] Research TipsRefer to the parish of Inveresk. |
