Colne (pronounced as coaln), formerly in Huntingdonshire but now part of Cambridgeshire, England, is a village near Earith north-east of St Ives.It is around north of Cambridge where there are railway connections to London and East Anglia, it is around from Huntingdon where there are also railway connections to London and the North. There are no shops in Colne itself but there is a Pub, "The green man", a Church, "St Helen's", and an egg farm. The nearest shop is less than a mile away in Bluntisham to the south. Colne in the past has also been known as Collen (13th century); Colneye (14th century). "Colne" is pronounced "cone".
