Clydach is a village and community (a civil parish before 1974) in the Swansea (principal area) (or the City and County of Swansea), in Wales, falling within Clydach ward and the Llangyfelach Parish. It is located some 6 miles (9.7 km) northeast of Swansea city centre. Its population in the UK census of 2011 was 7,503. (Source:Office for National Statistics. Neighbourhood Statistics)
