Clutton Rural District was a rural district located in the northern part of Somerset, England from 1894 to 1974. It was created under the Local Government Act 1894 to provide a suitable administration for a number of civil parishes within its boundaries. In 1974 it was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972 when it became part of the non-metropolitan Wansdyke District in the newly formed County of Avon. Avon was itself abolished in 1996 and the administration of the former Clutton Rural District area was taken over by the new unitary authority of Bath and North East Somerset District (BANES).

The parishes of Chilcompton, Litton and Ston Easton were transferred to the Mendip District of Somerset rather than to BANES in 1996.

There were some internal changes to the structure of Clutton Rural District during its existence. These have led to some places in the list below not appearing on the map. Explanations are contained in the notes below. Midsomer Norton and Radstock were urban districts.
