Chicksands was an extra-parochial area of land based around the lands of the former Chicksands Priory in Bedfordshire. In 1858 the area was made a civil parish. In more recent times Chicksands parish was merged with the neighbouring parish of Campton to form the civil parish of Campton and Chicksands.
