Cheadle Rural District existed from 1894 until 1974 and was located to the east of Place:Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. It absorbed part of a parish from Stoke-upon-Trent Rural District in 1922, and parts of others from Mayfield Rural District when it was abolished in 1934. In the nationwide municipal organization of 1974 the Cheadle Rural District was abolished and the area was transferred to the Staffordshire Moorlands District. [edit] Civil Parishes
