Burton-on-Yore is a civil parish in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire, England, facing Masham across the River Ure. The parish includes Low Burton and High Burton. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 81.
Note that the hamlet uses the old spelling of the River Ure.
Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Burton-on-Yore was located in Masham Rural District, and prior to 1934 in Masham Urban District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Masham in the Hang East Wapentake.
