Bremer County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. It was named for Fredrika Bremer, a Swedish traveler, poet, and author. The population was 24,276 in the 2010 census, an increase from 23,325 in 2000.[1][2] Its county seat is Waverly, and it is one of the three counties that make up the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.
