Blackheath is an inner suburban area of southeast London, England. It is named from the large open public grassland which separates it from Greenwich to the north and Lewisham to the west. The area is predominantly in the London Borough of Lewisham with sections to the north and east in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Blackheath contains one of the largest areas of common land in Greater London.
