Billesdon Rural District was located in Leicestershire, England. It originated with the Billesdon Poor Law Union, formed in 1835. In 1894 the area became a rural district named for the village of Billesdon.

In 1935 the area of the rural district was decreased when the city of Leicester annexed Humberstone, most of Evington, and some of Thurnby civil parishes. The following year some sections of the same parishes went to Oadby. The area was further reduced in 1966 by the Leicester's annexation of parts of Scraptoft, Stoughton and Thurnby parishes.

In 1974 the rural district became part of the non-metropolitan Harborough District, along with Lutterworth Rural District, Market Harborough Rural District, and Market Harborough Urban District.
