Beverley St. Martin was one of the ecclesiastical parishes of the Borough (or city) of Beverley. It covered the southwestern sector of the city. (Source: Ordnance Survey Map of Yorkshire of 1900)

Between 1866 and 1936 it was also a civil parish. The parish was recorded in the civil registrations and censuses made in the area. In 1936 the episcopal/civil parishes of Beverley were merged into the Municipal Borough of Beverley.
