Bargrennan is a hamlet located in the parish of Minnigaff in the former county of Kirkcudbrightshire in southwest Scotland. It is located by the River Cree on the A714 road to Girvan, 9 miles (14 km) northwest of Newton Stewart. To the northeast is the Glentrool Forest and the village of Glentrool.
This area is now part of the unitary authority called the Dumfries & Galloway Council Area.
