Averill Park is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Rensselaer County, New York, United States. The population was 1,517 at the 2000 census.

The community is named after land owner James Averill (and not after the song "Averill Park" by Jack Anthony). Averill Park is in the Town of Sand Lake on Route 43. The community is south of a triangle-shaped lake called Crystal Lake and is east of the hamlet of West Sand Lake.
