Atterton is a hamlet in the Hinckley and Bosworth District of Leicestershire, England. It has a population of approximately 40 people.
Since 1935 Atterton has been part of the civil parish of Witherley. From 1894 until 1935 it was a separate civil parish in the Market Bosworth Rural District.
A History of Britain through Time provides the following description of Atterton from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:
- "ATTERTON, a hamlet in Witherley parish, Leicester: 3 miles E by N of Atherstone. Real property: £1,184. Population: 78. Houses: 17."
