Anenii Noi is a district in the central part of Moldova. As of January 1, 2005, its population was 81,710, of which 68,761 were ethnic Moldovans, 6,526 Ukrainians, 4,135 Russians, 857 Romanians, 481 Bulgarians, 235 Gagauzes, and 228 Gypsies.

Its seat is the city Anenii Noi, population 8,358, located 50 km east of Chişinău, the capital of Moldova. There are two restaurants and a few factories in Anenii Noi. Transportation is available to Anenii Noi every half hour from Chişinău.
