A hamlet in Dumfries and Galloway, Airds of Kells lies to the north of the River Dee and west of the southern end of Loch Ken, 5 miles (8 km) south of New Galloway.

Airds of Kells was located in the parish of Kells in the former County of Kirkcudbrightshire in southwest Scotland. This area is now part of the unitary authority called the Dumfries & Galloway Council Area.
