There is no record evidence connecting this William Huntington of Salisbury with the family of Simon Huntington. The genealogy of the English family, pages 11-12 of The Huntington Family in America is virtually worthless since it was based on "research" by the "genealogist" Gustave Anjou. The best treatment of the family of Simon Huntington was published in 1952 by Donald Lines Jacobus in Hale, House, pages 647-50. Jacobus does not even mention the possibility of a son William in that family.--jaques1724 16:31, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
