William Hays [7 May 2019]

I have a William Hays who came out of North Carolina by 1820 to Habersham county, Georgia and died there by 1824, (Estate settled 1824) by James Hays. William Hays son's are; David Hays born in North Carolina April 14, 1781. David died in Eastanollee, Georgia, Feb. 29, 1863, age 82. They used the spelling after the Civil War as (Hayes). William Hays d. 1824 had second son named {William Hays} and found in Habersham county, Georgia book; "Gone to Georgia". The last son I have is Elijah Hays born 1785 in North Carolina he died in Habersham county about 1859 leaving his wife Mary Weaver to be found on 1860 census of that county, & State. Mary Weaver is the daughter of Peter Weaver & Elizabeth unknown. Elijah Hays first son is William Wily Hayes my great, great grandfather who was born 1819 in Habersham county, Georgia and died in Oklahoma of 1809 near Stratford, Oklahoma. Have his picture and genealogy of family. Think William Hays d. 1824 and his brother John Hays that left a (Pension) from Rev. War and died in Georgia both belong to David Hays Immigrant. I have other information but still in process of finding a hard proof back to the Augusta co. of Virginia colony. Some of the other names of the children of David Hays Immigrant are found in North Carolina also, like Robert Hays, Joseph Hays & John Hays. Anyone that has knowledge of these North Carolina Hays going back before the Rev. War in what became Rutherford county by 1779 from Tyron and later became Buncombe county, North Carolina. Thanks!
