GMB says William Clark arrived 1630 and settled Watertown and Ipswich had a wife Elizabeth dead by 1630, and no other William Clark arrived by 1633. These facts are consistent with History of Northampton (1698), which also details many events in Northampton of that William Clark. None involve a death in Haddam in 1681.
