Wondering if this is Thomas Ykema, born in Utingeradeel 12 Oct 1879. --Jennifer (JBS66) 13:04, 25 May 2012 (EDT)

Hello Jennifer, Its is very good possible that this is the right one. This Th Ykema came in from my Gedcom import for Hielke Boorsma, Hielke might know more about this one. I have added some links to internet pages, especially one notes that Thomas got married with Rinske: [1] But there is no evidense on that page, so you can't be shure if its correct.

You could try to go through the marriage books on genver.nl: [2] I looked through the indexes on pages 4-5 for years 1902 - 1922 but could not find the marriage until 1922. It could be that they martried after 1922, then you cant find them online. Good luck--Jsfaber 14:24, 25 May 2012 (EDT)

Hi Jaap-Sip, thank you for your help. I ended up finding information on their marriage from http://www.kb.nl/ (Hepkema's Courant) and then found the marriage certificate on FS. Jacob Thees Ykema and Aaltje Thomas Bijlsma were Thomas' parents, so I added that info to his page. I also found the following info in Hepkema's Courant. I can't make pages for them yet on WR because they may still be living, but I wanted to note what I found here:
