proof of 4 wives? [1 February 2013]

Are there records/sources to support Samuel Semple having 4 wives? (Marriage Bonds, Marriage Records, etc?) The only record that is included on his Person Page that supports wife Hannah Copeland is in Chalkley's, but she supposedly died in 1791, and Samuel re-married prior to her death. Did they divorce (any sources?) or was Samuel a bigamist?

The Samuel Semple that married Catherine Caldwell (based upon multiple message board comments) appears to be in Orange County/Mecklenburg County, NC, but you've added Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, without any sources listed.

It appears that more than 1 Samuel Semple may have been combined...
