Is there any evidence that Rebecca (---) Andrews was a Carrington? [16 December 2012]

I did quite a bit of digging for information on this, it seems the claim that she was a Carrington was solely made in the work on the Andrews family. Several other sources make mention of this claim without discussing the evidence for it (any?) or against it.

After looking over the whole internet, I found some older mentions that the link may be through some evidence that Rebecca was a brother to John Carrington, who may have been a son of the executed couple. But the proof itself was never actually stated, so Im stick wondering if there is any proof whatsoever. I dont intend to delete her being a Carrington (for now), but Id like to have a discussion about whether or not there is actually any proof out there.--Daniel Maxwell 00:12, 16 December 2012 (EST)
