Unlikely death date [4 July 2009]

The death date shown, 28 DEC 1670 in Taunton, was removed because this is exactly the same as the marriage date, hence likely a reflection of poor record-keeping. The Source:Genealogy of the Merrick-Mirick-Myrick family of Massachusetts, 1636-1902, p. 15, says all the children were by wife Mercy Bangs, and the last Sarah is shown b. 1688, so presumably she lived at least that long. He did not marry Anna Wilbore until he moved to Taunton, which the cited work says was an unknown date. --Jrich 23:20, 3 July 2009 (EDT)
