Current Best Theory

Daughter of Martin Reynolds and Johanna McMahon of Ennis, Clare, born 1857 (best proximity and date match to subsequent marriage in Limerick in 1874). Need to prove this Martin is a shoemaker.

Locating Birthplace and Mother [9 March 2014]

Mary's father is known to be Martin Reynolds, a shoemaker, from her 1874 marriage registration. However, no Limerick baptisms associated with this family have been found. As she was working as a housekeeper on Sir Harry's Mall at the time of her marriage, she very possibly obtained the job and moved to Limerick at that time from somewhere else, possibly some place very distant.--Artefacts 20:39, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
