Person talk:Mary Arnold (105)

Thank you [5 December 2012]

Very surprised to find this addition to Mary Ellen Arnold Ferguson. She is someone I only know through genealogy, but her father and my great-grandfather were brothers. I only recognized that that family of Fergusons in Saskatchewan was ours when I saw the name of the third son: Robert Arnold--a very familiar pairing of given names to me.

There is more than one person on Ancestry Family Trees who would like to have this piece of info if they don't have it.

I noticed in Dick Eastman's genealogy newsletter that the Royal BC Museum was making images of vital records available on-line so I am revisiting my records using the "old" source. Where I find an image, I replace the old source with the new one. Then I decided to review the linked records in WeRelate and noticed you were watching a few people. I figured the best way to let you know about the new source was to leave some "bait" in one of your records. I am not researching the Arnold's but thought this would be a nice way to pay back the help you have given me.

We were married in Edmonton and lived there for about 20 years before transferring to Dallas, Texas. We have driven though Vegreville many times, and even stopped for a visit once or twice.

Good hunting.--RGMoffat 09:58, 5 December 2012 (EST)

Rick
Can you give me the URL for the Royal BC Museum site? Sounds like one I should add to my collection. I don't read Dick Eastman regularly, though I should.

Did you see my note about Boreland in Scotland the other day? --goldenoldie 10:27, 5 December 2012 (EST) (Pat)

The URL for Royal BC Museum is on the new source page I created. Check out Mary Arnold's page and you chould be able to get it. We are on the way out to see our grandson. They just returned from a week at Disney World.--RGMoffat 10:42, 5 December 2012 (EST)
