Odd Coincidence [9 August 2012]

Not a proof, but the second wife of Doeke Jennes van der Woude (whose first wife was Lieutske/Luurtske Jacobs Bijlsma) was a sister of the wife of Tjipke Jans Kingma, son of Jan Jacobs Kingma and Luurtske Jacobs Bijlsma.--Pkeegstra 10:43, 9 August 2012 (EDT)

Death Certificate only Names Doeke [9 August 2012]

The death certificate at AlleFriezen (is that a stable URL?) only names her living husband Doeke Jennes van der Woude, unfortunately. And her marriage registry for Doeke does not list her as a widow nor her previous husband's name. So the argument for identity will have to be based on cumulative evidence. --Pkeegstra 11:31, 9 August 2012 (EDT)

Volkstelling Leeuwarderadeel 1829 [9 August 2012]

I do believe Person:Lieutske Bijlsma (1) and Person:Luurtske Bijlsma (1) are the same person. One more bit of proof is the 1829 census, which contains the following household:

OK, I'm convinced. I'll do the merge. (BTW, I find the two Jacobs Kingma very curious. I assume first Jacob was at the point of death when second Jacob was born, but he ultimately recovered.) --Pkeegstra 16:00, 9 August 2012 (EDT)
