Two Francis Beattys [22 August 2012]

I think you are combining two separate Francis Beattys here. The one with land in Augusta County, Virginia, part of which later became Washington County, Virginia, also left a will, dated 17 Sept 1789, in Washington County, VA. It was probated in Feb 1791.

Hi, it appears that Francis' son Francis is the one in Washington county (see Francis Jr's Person Page). Not sure what the link you provided goes to, no information there when I clicked on it.
