David's Death Date? [30 January 2010]

How do you know that David died in Oct 1781? All I can find is that his will was proved in the Oct 1781 term of the county court, and thus he died at some unknown time before that. One might assume it was some time in 1781 and wills were generally proved somewhat promptly.

I'll put "bef. Oct. 1781", which is more accurate than the date on familysearch, as you noted.
