Marriage to Captain William Purrier? [16 October 2014]
Is this a mistake? I can't find any info mentioning such a marriage, but I also don't have access to Mayflower through five generations.--Daniel Maxwell 22:44, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
- Something is clearly wrong as the first husband lived past the date that the second marriage is supposed to have occurred. Abigail married William Purrier before she was born?
- It appears from the history that a merge with Person:Unknown who had four husbands one being John Richmond. Two were removed, William Purrier wasn't. The source is here but it predates the merge with the addition of William Purrier as a husband, and I suspect it doesn't say she married William Purrier. It isn't cited on their joint Family page or on William Purrier's page.
- Just as an aside, this is why I always try to put an abstract for sources, because the page may not look like it did when you added the source, and somebody may think your source is saying something that was added later. --Jrich 03:33, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
