Since one of the causes of death is senility, and Winslow resided in the Alms House with a non-family member for informant, it is not clear how reliable the death report is as to family information. Apparently a previous poster put Winslow in the family of Barnard and Susanna (Pierce) Wheeler because he appears to be living with Horace Winslow in 1850, who appears to be the son of this couple, but he is not included in this family by Read. Further, the death report gives him different parents. No birth record has been found to confirm either of these arrangements, but it seems quite possible he does not belong to this family.
