  • Vol. 2 - Page ___--Wm. Patton deposes, 7th November, 1806, is aged over 64; resided in Borden's grant 56 years last May. William Wardlaw bought the land. Wardlaw and deponent's father were intimate; has known Joseph Walker from a lad, fifty years ago. Indians were troublesome and people collected in great companies. These troubles lasted ten years. Deponent was born 1742.
