William Usher and Ann Shields of Stradbally, Queen’s County, Ireland. At least the youngest four of their known nine children emigrated to US beginning in about 1803-1084; these were James (born circa 1775) and his wife, Mary Dunn (born circa 1776), and their children William, Patrick and James Dunn;
John (b. ca 1789);
Ann (b. ca 1790) and
William (b. ca 1797).
The children who remained in Ireland were Patrick (purportedly a priest who died young), Margaret, Fanny, Eliza and Mary. We know Margaret and Eliza married, don’t know about other girls.
