    Stoughton, William, Windsor. Will dated 27 April, 1750: I, William Stoughton of Windsor, do make this my last will and testament: I give to Martha, my wife, 1-2 of my dwelling house which I now live in, and 1-3 part of my barn and reasonable yard room, and the use of 1-3 part of my real estate during her natural life. Also, 1-3 part of my moveable and personal estate, to her and to her heirs forever, in lieu of dower. I give unto my son William Stoughton the half of the lott he now lives on not included in his deed, and the 1-2 of the lott which I purchased of Thomas Grant in the meadow not included in his deed; also all my land in Podunk Meadow and 1-2 of my land in Tolland, and 1-2 of my land in Barkhamsted, divided and undivided; and 1-2 of my right of land in Windsor town commons, divided and undivided, including the equivalent land; and also 1-2 of my 15-acrc lott lying near Nathan Day's land; all which land to be to my sd. son William Stoughton and his heirs forever. I give to my son Oliver Stoughton the whole of my homelott which I now live on, on both sides of the highway, upland and meadow. with the buildings and appurtenances, and also the lott which I purchased of Peletiah Bliss and the 3 small lotts which I purchased of my sisters, and 1-2 of my land in Tolland; also 1-2 of my land in Barkhamsted, divided and undivided, 1-2 of my right of land in Windsor town commons, divided and undivided, including the equivalent land, and 1-2 of my 15-acre lott near Nathan Day's land; all which land to be to my sd. son Oliver, to him and his heirs forever. I give to my daughter Elizabeth 5 shillings and no more, for reasons best known to myself. I give to my daughter Jerusha Newbery £100 money, old tenor, besides what I have already given her. I give unto my daughter Sibell Newberry £80 money, old tenor, besides what I have already given her. I appoint my wife Martha and my 2 sons William and Oliver Stoughton executors.
