Will of William Sterrett
- Page 354.--22d April, 1817. William Sterrett's will--Wife, Isabella, to be supported by his sons, James and Josiah Baskins; to son, Samuel; to my son, Alexander Boyd; to son, John; son, Henry; to son, William Bell, and William's brother, David; to son, David; daughter, Nancy Ritchie (under age, unmarried); Henry McConnick, of Dauphin (?) Co., Penna., is indebted to testator the amount of a legacy left testator by testator's brother-in-law, Wm. McConnick, of said county; this is devised to Joseph Sterrett, who served his time as an apprentice with said Henry McConnick. Executors, wife Isabella and son Samuel. Teste: Jonathan Sherley, W. Clarke. (Plots of Samuel Sterret's land, John Sterret's land, David Sterrett's land.) Proved, 25th March, 1818. Executors refuse; and July Court, 1818, James Sterrett qualifies.
