1708: Death of William Smith, Jr.
- Evidence to support the 1708 death date:
- 21 Jul 1708 probate of will of William Smith, Cecil county, Maryland 1 - needs further investigation, transcript, etc.
- 20 Sep 1708 - Father William Smith writes his own will (see person page) in which he leaves property to "second son John" and personalty to granddaughter Hannah "daughter of son William", but does not leave anything directly to son William.
- However, his father's will is probated 20 May 1710, during which a William Smith and a David Evans swore before WW Hayden, Dept Commissioner of Cecil County, that they saw the Testor seal and deliver the will. So... who is this witness William Smith? ... needs further investigation
