    RISTEAU - The passing of William F Risteau, age 55 years, beloved husband of Jane Anne Risteau, of 923 6th Street east, occurred at the family residence on September 15. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at 3 p.m. from the First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Horace West assisted by the Rev. B. Johnson. Park Funeral Chapel will be in charge. Surviving are three sons, William F. of San Francisco; Basil G of Whitehorse, and <living> of Saskatoon; a daughter, Miss <living> Risteau of Saskatoon; seven sisters, Mrs. R. Briscoe and Mrs. A Summach of Asquith; Mrs. W. Felhfaber (sic) of Pembroke, Ont.; Mrs. G Getz, Mrs. J Kuehl of Killaloe, Ont.,; Mrs. S Henderson of Regina; Mrs. T Johnson of Vancouver; a sister-in-law, Mrs. C Risteau of Kitchener, Ont.; and three grandchildren. The late Mr. Risteau had been a resident of Saskatoon for the past 11 years. He served in the First World War 1915-1918, also in the R.C.A.F. in the second war from 1941 to 1945. Burial will be made in Woodlawn Cemetery.

    William Frederick Risteau, 923 Sixth Street, veteran of the First and Second World Wars, died early this morning at the age of 55, after an illness of a month. He had been a resident of Saskatchewan for 30 years, coming to Saskatoon from Asquith 11 years ago. He was a city employee.

    He is survived by three sons, William E., Basil G. and <living>., and a daughter, <living>. William and Basil served in the navy in the Second World War. William is a former pressman of the Star-Phoenix and now is living in San Francisco.

    The funeral, in charge of the Park Funeral Home, will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday from First Baptist Church.
