An administrator was appointed 1843 (file 12). There is no documentation of a petition being filed to provide us with names of the widow and heirs. He began collecting inventories and appraisals and the widow, named Mary, was allowed to select personal items for her share. No further activity is documented until the administrator resigned in 1845 and a new administrator was appointed (file 22). New additional inventories were filed. The estate was declared insolvent and closed. Thus there is no record of distribution to the heirs.

- ↑ Birth date must be estimated due to lack of records. William was married by 1830 and age 20-29 as implied by his 1830 census estimate. His wife, Mary was age 45 in the 1850 census. We assign William a birth date of about 1804 assuming he was a bit older than his wife and in accord with his parents marriage in 1802.
