Special to the Evening Citizen PEMBROKE, June 23 ... The store of Wm. Noack and Son at Shady Nook, four miles south of Pembroke, was broken into during the night and about $10 wasstolen from the till, along with a few packages of cigarets and some pipe tobacco.
Wm. Layman's blacksmith shop across the road also was entereed and an iron bar taken. The bar, however, was not used toforce the door of the store, which was entered by breaking a window at the bck of the building.
Mr. Layman discovered early this morning that his shop had been entered and told Mr. Noack, who then found he, too, had been robbed.
The robberies are being investigated by Provincial Constable E. V. McNeill.
