My maternal grandmother's bible has quite a bit of information, including "William M Morris, died July 10, 1892. Enlisted in the Union Army in Ohio. Married Bethine P. Adams Taylor. Six children born of the union. Mary E, Sarah F, William A, Samuel S, George A and Syntha Atha." Syntha is where my line continues. Syntha married Elijah Wooden. Their daughter, Clara Lily May, married George W. Clemons Sr. Their 3rd son is Clarence Newton Clemons. He married Anna Elizabeth Angell, and their 2nd child, a daughter, is my mother.
